When is Amazon Prime Day?
The next Amazon Prime Day 2025 sale has not yet been officially announced, but industry insiders predict it will return in mid-October. The summer sale event ran for four days, starting on Tuesday, 8th July. Prime members had access to thousands of deals across every shopping category, from health and home to fashion and beauty. New deals dropped each day of the sale, with time-limited discounts going live throughout the sale.
How to prepare for Prime Day
Even though the official October date for Amazon Prime Day has not yet been announced, it pays to plan ahead if you want to snap up the best savings on favourites like premium skincare and beauty tools, fashion essentials, home appliances and health tech like smart watches or fitness trackers. Decide on your budget for Prime Day deals, and start a wishlist on Amazon of essentials and treat-yourself items, so you can keep track of prices and snap up bargains as soon as the sale goes live.

After over 15 years in the ‘biz (11 here at woman&home), I’d like to think I have some authority on the products worth buying. Then again, I’m also no stranger to completely losing all sense during sales - what can I say, we canny Scots love a bargain and I’ve got the leopard print maxi coat to prove it.

First up - I would file this Drowsy sleep mask under investment buy. It’s nearly £70 full price - but only £52 today on a ‘when it’s gone it’s gone’ lightning deal - and I honestly wouldn’t be without mine.
As well as making me feel like a far more glamorous person than I really am, this is hands-down the most comfortable eye mask I’ve ever tried - It’s like sleeping with a cloud on your face.
If I'm banging on about it, there are of course beauty benefits too: the silk stops my skin from dragging on my pillow so I never wake up with creased and crumpled under-eyes that last until lunch (if you know, you know) Even better: it’s padded and covers my ears, so muffles sound too - anything that blocks out the screechy South London foxes and sirens is a keeper in my book.
I might be a teeny-tiny bit biased, but for my money, there aren’t many recommendations more convincing than a woman&home beauty award. Trust me, I see what goes into the testing and judging process.

Jennifer Aniston is known for her love of the Oura Ring. I recently reviewed the latest model, the Oura Ring 4 (spoiler: it’s excellent and also on sale), but the star was spotted wearing the Oura Ring Generation 3 last year.
This ring is now at its lowest-ever price in the silver colourway for Amazon Prime Day at £165, down from £249. Previously, the cheapest I'd ever seen it was £188.
The Oura Ring is one of the best fitness trackers, but it works a little differently from an Apple Watch or a Fitbit. Being a ring, it’s a lot more discreet, looking more like a piece of jewellery than a home for smart sensors. These sensors are advanced, though, and record everything from your heart rate to your body temperature, outlining your day in the ‘Vitals’ segment of the Oura app.
You can track your workouts, sleep, and stress levels in impressive detail, review long-term health predictions (including cardiovascular age), and get advice on optimising your routine day by day rather than generally. No wonder Jen’s a fan.
Jennifer Garner has been a long-time fan of Brooks Running trainers, even supporting them at charity events over the years. As a keen runner who has the same shoes as her, I can say she’s made a good call getting behind the brand.

While we’re in this safe space, I’ll admit I’m a Beauty Writer with hair that is incredibly prone to getting greasy quickly - I’m talking oily hair just two days after washing. So, unless I stick to my strict routine of washing my locks every other day, you can often find me reaching for my Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo - which has a huge 32% off today.
I've tested many other dry shampoos over the years, yet each formula typically leaves my scalp irritated and itchy. However, this formula is truly magic. While The Prodigy will usually set you back £250, which is still half the price of an Airwrap, it’s currently on sale for Amazon Prime Day for less than £150. This notable 40% saving is the lowest we’ve seen its price tag drop to since its launch back in September 2024, making now an ideal time to invest in the tool.
For those seeking a saving on the Dyson Airwrap, you’ll be pleased to know that you enjoy an £80 discount on the Dyson Airwrap i.d. Multi-Styler and Dryer for a limited time only in the Amazon Prime Day sales.
Before I leave, if there’s one unsexy skincare staple that I’d recommend everyone to add to their basket today, it’s La Roche-Posay’s Cicaplast Baume B5+. This multi-purpose cream has been designed to instantly calm and soothe uncomfortable and irritated skin - whether that be dry skin flare-ups or sun burn.
While a tube of this versatile cream will normally set you back £19.50, its price tag has been slashed by 35%, so you can add it into your skincare collection for less than £13.
Next up, we have a minimiser bra. This style supports and redistributes breast tissue to give your bust a smaller appearance. Extensively tested by the woman&home team, the Berlei comes highly recommended for not just functionality but style too.
And whilst we're talking all things bras, just a quick tip:
Underwired bras should be hand-washed - yes, it is annoying, but honestly, it will mean your bra will last you so much longer. If you're insisting on using a washing machine, then grab yourself some of these machine wash bra bags so that the hook and eye closure on your bra doesn't ruin other clothes, and the lace on your bra survives the washing machine. These little zip pouches keep your bras a little more contained and safe (and they're also ideal for keeping socks together). Lay your bras flat to dry, and never put them in the tumble dryer.
We all love a comfy bra, and some of the best ones fall under the category of 'bralette'. This is usually a term used to describe a softer style with no underwire.
Last but not least, this Curvy Kate strapless is my absolute go-to. As someone with a G/GG bust, Curvy Kate revolutionised the fuller bust lingerie market. Not only does the brand have gorgeous styles, but the amount of engineering and know-how that goes into these designs means you can buy pretty and practical. This strapless design is a little more functional than Curvy Kate's usual selection, but I still think it's an attractive style that gets the job done.
And my final top tip. If you find a bra style you love, invest. Buy all the basic, neutral colours you need and regularly rotate between your bras so that they have time to recover their stretch and don't get worn out so quickly. Think about the different cuts and styles of clothing you need and the different bras that are needed to accompany that, and most importantly, get yourself measured, or learn how to measure your bra size at home. Now this might not be the most glamorous product you’ve seen on this page, but my word is it one of my favourites.
Living in a busy household, you quickly find out that free storage space is like gold dust, and you’ll often need to declutter your home regularly just to keep it from bursting at the seams.
These vacuum storage bags, which come in three sizes, have completely changed the game for me. We use them everywhere, from the outside shed to the loft upstairs. They’ve safely stored our outdoor cushions and blankets over winter, our extra bedding from the caravaning days, and our bulky winter clothes during the summer.

After all, I spend most of my time, even outside of sales events and my working hours, searching for bargains on all my favourite makeup, skincare, nail and fragrance buys, so you’re in good hands.
An average week for me involves reporting on the season’s trendiest manicures, showcasing the products that I love and actually keep in my beauty bag and of course, scouring the web for celebrity makeup and skincare recommendations. All of which I’ll be applying to my Prime Day coverage.

The idea of eventually running out of this face mask makes me feel anxious, but thanks to this 24% saving, I’m going to have its replacement ready in the wings. Speaking of which, last summer Hannah Waddingham actually shared her entire summertime beauty stash with her Instagram followers, and there were a few standout and very affordable products in the mix.
